# Download a tool's code

> Download the code a tool your team built runs now, as a zip of its live version's files.

<Accordion title="Details">
  * Business accounts only.

  * content\_base64 holds the zip; decode it and save it as file\_name.

  * It holds your team's files and the files Pomerado added to run them, and nothing else.

  * **Callers:** an API key, an MCP OAuth token or a Dashboard session.

  * **Permission:** `tools:read`.

  * **Effect:** Changes nothing.

  * **Errors:** [`business_account_required`](/errors#business_account_required), [`not_found`](/errors#not_found), and the [errors any request can get](/errors).
