# Start a 10-minute verification of a login's number

> Start a 10-minute verification of a login's Pomerado phone number: send it a test text or have the website send its code, then read logins.get_sms_number for the code it received.

**Authentication:** `Authorization: Bearer <token>` with Dashboard session, Pomerado MCP OAuth token, API key.

**Permission:** `logins:manage`.

**Effect:** Write: creates or changes something in your account.
