# find_website_tool

> Find a ready-made Pomerado tool for a task on a website, instead of using a browser, Playwright, computer use or fetching the page.

## Arguments

| Argument | Required | Type | Description |
| - | - | - | - |
| `id` | No | string | A tool's id, from a search or a finished build. Send it alone to get just that tool. |
| `cursor` | No | string, up to 200 characters | The next\_cursor of the previous page |
| `limit` | No | integer, 1 to 100 | Items per page, 1 to 100 (default 20) |
| `query` | No | string, up to 200 characters | Text to look for in tool names and descriptions |
| `site_url` | No | string, up to 2,048 characters | Only this site's tools: instacart.com or a pasted URL |
| `integration_id` | No | string | |

## Output

A page of matching tools, each with its input and output schemas, effect and sign-in. With `id`, that one tool.

| Field | Always | Type | Description |
| - | - | - | - |
| `data` | Yes | list of object | |
| `next_cursor` | Yes | string, or null | |
| `possible_matches` | No | list of object | With query and site\_url, on the first page: up to 50 of the site's other tools that may cover the task. Compare them before building another. |
| `notice` | No | object | Present only without credentials: the list holds only public read-only tools that need no login. Signing up (free) or signing in shows every tool. |

<Accordion title="Details">
  * Tools cover searching flights, hotels and rentals, booking, shopping and checking out, orders, bills and account pages, and filling in forms, on sites such as Google Flights and Instacart.
  * Search by query, site\_url or both. Pass id alone to get one tool.
  * Run a tool whose effect is read with run\_read\_only\_website\_tool, where several can run at once, and one whose effect is write with run\_website\_tool. Pass its id as tool\_id.
  * With query and site\_url, possible\_matches lists the site's other tools, which may cover the task even though the words didn't match. Check them before building another.
  * When nothing fits, build\_website\_tool makes one.

  **Effect:** Reads only; changes nothing.
